Casa Hoopoe is a beautiful four-bedroomed detached villa with breathtaking sea and mountain views over the entire island of Lanzarote, from the coast of Arrecife on the South side of the island to the coast of Famara on the North side with even a view of Fuerteventura in the distance through the mountains and valleys.
It boasts a lovely 8 x 4m bean shaped heated pool on a terrace overlooking the rest of the village and the island. The property offers complete privacy.

Lanzarote - the Black Pearl of the Canaries
Lanzarote is the Easternmost of the Spanish Canary islands in the Atlantic sea off the coast of West Africa. Just about 60 km long from its northern to southernmost tips, and 25 km wide , it is known for its volcanic nature as it was formed through a succession of eruptions in the 1700s, the remains of which can be seen all about the island -- covered in craters, rolling lava slopes and jagged rock formations. The stark red and black colors of the earth contrast with the white single story houses, the lush green succulent plants and cacti and the deep blue of the sky and the sea. Because of its constant temperatures around 22°C year round and its light winds, it is often referred to as the Island of Eternal Spring.

4 spacious bedrooms - 8 guests
Casa Hoopoe has four bedrooms – each with king sized 180cm beds that can be split into two single beds on demand, and plenty of cupboard space with hangers and shelves. The first bedroom on entry has an en-suite bathroom with a full bathtub that doubles as a shower, sink and toilet. The second bedroom overlooking the pool area has an en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The third bedroom also overlooking the pool area has an en-suite shower room as well with sink and toilet. The fourth bedroom doesn’t have its own bathroom but accesses a guest toilet in the hallway. It does have a terrace access however. All plugs contain USB and USB-C chargers. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated with handmade artwork, in lovely greens and earth tones, woods and rattan. All bedding, towels (bathroom and pool) are provided, and the showers are equipped with dispensers containing shower and hair products.
Living and Dining
The living and dining room area are tastefully decorated in Lanzarote style greens with nature invited into the space through the stunning light fixtures and decoration. The living room is equipped with a wall mounted smart TV with thousands of IPTV channels from all countries, and hundreds of movies and series to chose from, and can be connected to with your own Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV and Amazon Prime accounts. A sound speaker can be connected to over Wifi and moved all about the house and its spacious outdoor areas. Behind the main seating area is a fully equipped working space for those looking to work remotely, with a large desk, high-speed internet access and a printer.
Lounging...
The lounge leads outside through wide sliding doors onto a covered patio with chairs, to settle in at sunset and enjoy the breathtaking views on the entire island. The patio has two wide staircases that lead to the pool area, complete with sun loungers for all guests, surrounding a bean shaped 8 x 4m swimming pool that has solar and electric heating keeping it just toasty all year round. The pool is bathed in sunshine all day long.
What's cooking?
There is a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, large fridge/freezer, and everything you might need to feel right at home: a Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, kettle, blender, roaster, rice cooker, air fryer, and even a bread maker.
Dining and chilling out
The dining room that seats 8 leads onto the outdoor terrace which is equipped with an outdoor cooking area complete with fridge/freezer, gas barbecue, plancha and paella cooker, washing machine and dryer. There is an al fresco eating area as well as a superb Manrique style chill zone lounging area to hang out in the evenings with friends or family.
The pool, terrace and gardens are completely private and not overlooked.
